Frederick Inglefield did not invent the Inglefield clip, whatever the (self published) source may say. It was invented by Edward Inglefield and patented in 1894. There are references at both Edward Fitzmaurice Inglefield and Inglefield clip, but a quick Google search will bring up plenty more. Shem (talk) 10:32, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
