As per my travails in the land of speedy deletion & undeletion requests, I have been instructed by Humbug! to engage in a discussion of the content, as per Bold Revert Discuss. Original speedy deleter agreed that it was deleted by mistake (despite my objections.) Spartaz disagreed. Here is the justification: Free University of New York and The Free University of NYC are two separate things. One was a front for the Maoist PLP Party in the late 1960's. The other was a one day even that was party of the Occupy movement. There is no reference to FUNY on any of the pages on Free University of New York City site. Furthermore, when re-enactments of this kind take place, the new school is at pains to clearly identify it with the old school, by either taking on the same name, or preppending "New" to the front. What are others' thoughts?--Theredproject (talk) 16:15, 30 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
