This page is not definition of freemium business pattern. Freemium has a comprehensive wikipeida page(see freemium) written by someone else previously. But this page(free tier) is differ from freemium in its concept, but both are in the same context namely business model. I was written this page not in an appropriate fashion, in my previous edit, and the reviewer redirect this page properly, because it was definition of freemium instead of free tier. But now I change the first sentence of this page in such a way that properly define free tier not freemium.
I believe that this post is an attempt at original research. No other place is it possible to find mention of a free tier business model.
Since all the descriptions in this post could all be written under freemium as well, I think it should be removed
The free tier is a part of the freemium business model, not a business model in it self.
