About scooters
editBefore putting this up on AfD: I'm working with some scooter riders to try and make this article sourced and generally meet WP:N. Chris Picone! 19:26, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

SCOOTERS
scooters are great for kids who age from 5 years old to 25 years old. you can buy razor and mgp scooters at walmart, but in my opion those are not the best kind of scooters. the good scooter brands are ethic, phoenix, urbanartt, envy, proto, tilt, apex, fassen, and lucky.
Scooters have came along way in the past few years and people whoe dont know about freestyle scootering should it could become really bg and is alread big in some parts of the globe. There are many diffrent scooter tricks out there lke superman, fingerwhips, talwhip, barspin, ect. There are profesional scooter riders out there lke Ryan Williams and Dakota Schuetz. Scooters can get really expensive somtmes but if you love the sport its definitly worth it.
SCOOTERS ROCK!!!

Scootering → Freestyle Scooters — Scootering (scooting, scooterers, scooterists) has been made to sound childish. Using the word freestyle is an accepted term in action sports. Freestyle Scooters is also a highly accepted term with in the community and is used to describe most companies. Having a standard of what the name is will help to achieve legitimacy. Also Scootering refers to all forms of scooters such as moderized and others and is not specific enough. --Memulligann (talk) 22:03, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Out of date
editThis article is easily 5 years out of date. The information here is extremely outdated compared to current technology and scooter models. If anyone (other then me) feels like bringing it up to speed, please do. If not, I will repair it at my leisure. But it needs to be addressed. —ASPENSTI—TALK—CONTRIBUTIONS 03:47, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Needs work.

You need to talk about scooyork, the philly crew and other teams like razor. History of scootering. There are many things in skateboarding so let's bump this up a bit cmon Scooyork222 (talk) 17:14, 4 December 2017 (UTC)
Well known scooterists
editDakota Schuetz is the only one covered right now, but Tanner Fox, Cody Flom, Jordan Robles, and the Funk Brothers seem capable of meeting reasonable tests of notability. - knoodelhed (talk) 09:54, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
2020 world championship
editThere was an indoor event at Woodward West run by Action Space where each rider would perform one routine in front of several cameras for (offsite?) judges to score. Tanner Fox made a video about it and I'll post a link later in the day as an addition to this topic, when I find it. - knoodelhed (talk) 16:14, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
Here it is
