WHAT IS THE GENRE!
I have seen many genres such as acoustic, dance, electronic, alternative, pop, rock OMG I LISTEN TO THEM BUT THE GENRE FOR ARTIST ARE USUALLY LISTED AS ONLY ONE GENRE I KNOW ALTERNATIVE ISN'T A GENRE BUT I HEARD IT IS
Get Ready To Rokk?
This is rather petty, but I'm sure the title of the song featured on Guitar Hero is 'Get Ready To Rokk' rather than 'Ready To Rokk' as listed here. I own the PAL version, is the title different for the NTSC versions of the game?
- you are correct. -- Chris chat edits essays 03:24, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Unnecessary Internal Links?
I'm pretty sure that some of the links to other articles in here make no sense whatsoever.
- The "T" in the song "T DJ" links to MBTA.
- The song Tracey Gold links to Tracey Gold. If anything, that should be in a footnote, since the song is only about Tracy Gold
- The "Robotron" in the songs "Robotron 2000" and "Robotron 2002" links to Robotron: 2084. I don't think the song is even about Robotron: 2084.
- Lastly, the "Duct Tape" in the song "Duct Tape my Heart" shouldn't link to the article on Duct Tape
Discuss?
- "Tracey Gold" is actually about the actress, and "T DJ" is actually about a man who rides the T (MBTA). Thus, those internal links are completely appropriate. I don't know about Robotron, and the duct tape link is... well, it's not necessary, per se, but it's not as if it really hurts the article. I'm certainly not removing any of the internal links, but delinking Robotron and duct tape wouldn't be the end of the world. -- Kicking222 16:54, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
I added the "electroclash" genre to the page, I figure if a band like le tigre can be considered electroclash, freezepop can in the same vain, alot of freezepops songs have that electroclash sound, so I figured it was only fitting to add it to their genres.
Speak N' Say
It is interesting to note that their song 'I am not your Gameboy' utilizes the toy the Speak N' Say, which I think is awesome. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.35.154.85 (talk) 06:33, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
Trivia Section Reduction
Most of the information in the trivia section is irrelevant. One article of trivia is in the first paragraph of the article, why is it repeated? We have one bit of trivia saying that "drinkwater" means "something" in Dutch, with a link to an article about drinking water that has nothing about the Dutch in it. Noting that two of the band's songs are in foreign languages is of no significance considering that this is very common. Likewise, I see nothing indicating the significance of the translation of one of the band members names - are we next going to have a section in Trivia explaining what "Enthusiasm" means? Considering Trivia sections are discouraged I see no reason to keep the section, but since these edits keep getting reverted I am removing just the parts that are particularly unencyclopedic and putting explanations in the edit history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.139.221.106 (talk) 16:34, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
I just had these changes reverted with the explanation "Wikipedia isn't censored". This is not censorship, this is trimming of meaningless factoids in a trivia section. Can we please have some discussion as to why these pieces of trivia are significant? See history in article. Note that GreenJoe is making reverts with no attempt to explain why the version reverted to is superior to the cleaned up section, and reported me for making 3 reverts after first reverting 3 times. 66.139.221.106 17:02, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'm returning 66.139.221.106's post - in full - which Greenjoe has on two occasions seen fit to edit. He provides no justification for the first deletion, his reasoning the second time is in his edit summary: " People can look at the history on their own". As I see it there are two problrms with this:
- This doesn't follow guidelines (see WP:TPG) regarding other's comments;
- 66.139.221.106 asks a series of questions - which have all been ignored - and asks that a discussion begin.
- No more introduction is required. Here's the post in full:

I agree the trivia section needs better working into the article, but it should not simply be deleted. J 21:48, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- The section was not deleted, just portions of the trivia which, for reasons explained above, had no business being in an encyclopedia. I find these reverts by you quite hypocritical considering your history of blanking sections from articles with no attempt to discuss your reasons. You have been warned about doing so several times on your talk page, and you keep blanking that as well. Resistance is Character-Forming 14:50, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

- And you're not assuming good faith. Can we please get back on topic before I report you? J 15:43, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Considering my topic is "GreenJoe keeps deleting stuff for no good reason", I think I AM on topic. Resistance is Character-Forming 15:44, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- No, the topic is the trivia section which no longer exists, so this thread is finished. I won't be replying here anymore on this matter. J 15:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Harmonix
The article states "With the exception of Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The 80s and Guitar Hero 3, Freezepop has at least 1 song in every Harmonix game that allows you to play guitar." But Guitar Hero 3 is not done by Harmonix; RedOctane and Harmonix parted ways to do Guitar Hero 3 and Rockband, respectively. Also, Rockband requires additional content for Freezepop to appear (the OXM featured a disc with Sprode on it; that's how I've got mine). So, the statement isn't entirely true. Asinine17 (talk) 23:16, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
- Rock Band includes a version of the Freezepop song "Brainpower" on the disc. So, no, it does not require DLC to have a Freezepop song. Super Sprode was a song written for Harmonix's "Amplitude" anyway. HunterXI (talk) 03:01, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi Phive Remix vs. Original
The article notes that the lyrics of the song Science Genius Girl (hi-phive remix) includes the first 30 digits of Phi. However, the original song had 30 digits of Pi instead. Considering that Pi is a considerably more notable mathematical constant, and considering it appeared in the original version of the song, wouldn't it be more prudent to mention the original and its digits instead? HunterXI (talk) 03:06, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Although personally i have never heard the version with phi, most people seem to agree that the "phi" version is more well known. Majority rules here. 69.231.95.3 (talk) 05:41, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

Kasson Crooker
His wiki page says he's the Audio Director at Harmonix, while this one says he's the Senior Producer. Which is he? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ItaniKnight (talk • contribs) 15:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

according to a recent newsletter by the band, kasson has left freezepop due to time conflicts. http://www.freezepop.net/ news from 6/7/09 and 6/4/09 --77.186.3.136 (talk) 11:16, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
