OK, I've been working on this page for a while, and it's mostly complete, but there are still a few things that need to be done – if anyone's interested.
More sources are needed for the section on PSF activities during the occupation of France, as well as the Historiography section. It's difficult to find reliable and detailed English-language sources on the PSF, Croix-de-Feu, and interwar period in France in general, and no full-length study of the PSF exists (either in English or French). So, I've had to rely mainly (somewhat too heavily, I would say) on the assertions of French-language sources and partially on the equivalent article in the French Wikipedia.
This article could use a few images – of La Rocque, 6 février 1934 perhaps...unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any fair-use photographs.
More detailed information about the PSF's performance in the 1938-39 municipal and general council elections would be instructive (unsurprisingly, I haven't been able to find much).
Wow, very well done. Came here following my own revision of the historiography in the Croix-de-Feu article, and I must say this is much better: more complete and very subtle and precise in a topic that often gets turned into a political football. Nice one. T L Miles (talk) 04:41, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I think the main problem in getting good coverage of the PSF (besides ideological bias) is just the lack of detailed English-language sources. There actually is a recent English book on the subject - Reconciling France Against Democracy: The Croix-de-Feu and the Parti Social Français - which I haven't been able to find yet but could probably enrich the article even more.
