Hey, mate long time no see ;) I will review this article as soon as possible. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 21:06, 17 July 2019 (UTC)
- Much appreciated - I didn't expect you to review this one for now and I forgot to check for the .0s before I nominated it, so I had to rush and fix them before you had a chance to catch me! Parsecboy (talk) 00:49, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- Ha, funny. You got those first before me.
Lead
- As war with Germany became Link Germany as in Nazi Germany.
- Done
- the Japanese in the Indian Ocean Link Indian Ocean here.
- Done
- Recalled to France in December 1945 Link France as in the "Provisional Government of the French Republic".
- Hmm, that seems a little WP:EGGy to me - in the context, we're just talking about the place, so the link to the specific government doesn't seem appropriate there
- Richelieu was part of the force that liberated Singapore following Link Singapore here as in the "British Military Administration (Malaya)".
- I think this is the same situation as above - a reader clicking the link is going to expect to find the article on the city, not the specific government
- Maybe, but, at ARC or FAC reviews you always to avoid linking current nations' links. So I assumed at that moment that we'd to link Singapore and France because they do not have the same nations as today. Anyway, I do not mind if France is unlinked but Singapore should be unlinked too because its link goes to the current nation's article. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 15:04, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- True, but I think Singapore is a slightly different case because it's a city-state - to link the city you have to link the current nation too. There isn't a good alternative, unlike Königsberg/Kaliningrad, for example. Parsecboy (talk) 16:22, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- Good point. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 23:21, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- These included a number of bombardment Maybe replace "a number of" with "several".
- Done
- in Italy over the course of 1968–1969 Maybe replace "over the course of 1968–" to "from 1968 through"?
- Works for me
More to come. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 05:46, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- Take your time, it's a lengthy article. Parsecboy (talk) 12:14, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- I'll continue after I finished Sturm's French battleship Iéna nomination, but, it'd be probably finished today. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 16:32, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
Body
- When in 1934 Italy announced that Link Italy here as pipe link with the Kingdom of Italy.
- Done

- Done
- within the 35,000 long tons (36,000 t) limit imposed First Link both "tonnes" here and it is 35,500 t not 36,000. Also why is long tons here the primary unit? I thought France you used metric ones at the time?
- Yes, but for naval matters, long tons was specified as the international standard by the Washington and London treaties - the rest is fixed
- with eight 380mm/45 Modèle (Mle) 1935 guns arranged We need a space between the unit and "380" here.
- Good catch

More to come. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 09:32, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

- the men and supplies, continued on south to Gabon Remove the Gabon's link and add before Gabon "present-day".
- See if what I've changed it to works for you
- would be transferred to metropolitan France for repairs Link metropolitan France here and capitalise metropolitan.
- I don't think "metropolitan" is a proper noun when used in the phrase - see the article, which doesn't capitalize it in running text.
- It's really odd to see an empty section called "Free-French career: 1943–1945".
- It's just a section header to group all of the lower headers in the same section - the same as the "World War II" header
- the Germans in invade the rest Remove "in" here.
- Fixed
- In addition, repairing and modernizing a ship Remove "In addition" and replace it with besides.
- "Besides" doesn't really work there - what's your objection to "in addition? :P
- The ships arrived on 11 February and on the 18th Remove the second "on" here.
- No, that's needed there
- the shell and propellant lifts being rebuilt Is this the verb lifts or the plural of the noun?
- Plural of the noun
- where ordereda contract to Remove the extra space between "where" and "ordereda" here.
- I'm not seeing this one
- to produce 930 shells was from You mean were?
- The contract was ordered, not the shells
- After more than two and a half years without I'm not sure or we should use "two and a half years"? Is this allowed? I mean MOS says we shouldn't use numbers with more than two words above nine. But are comma numbers also included?
- Yeah, I wouldn't say "2.5 years" or "2 1/2 years"
- Richelieu's tower fore mast was heavily Merge "fore mast" here.
- Done
- the hull was in need of maintenance Replace "was in need of" with needed.

Infobox
- No link for the "100 mm (3.9-inch) anti-aircraft guns"?
- No, the guy who's been writing all of those articles skipped all of the French 100 mm guns for some reason
- Link both normal and full load.
- Those are linked in the box above
- Link of these "380 mm/45 guns", "152 mm/50 guns" and "100 mm anti-aircraft guns" guns?
- They're already linked in the box above
- Replace "20 mm (0.79 in) Oerlikon AA guns" with with "20 mm (0.79 in) Oerlikon AA cannons"
- Done
Sources
- Maybe a code like ISBN, ISSN or OCLC in Dumas' book?
- Added an OCLC
- Google books say to me that the publisher of Rohwer's book is "Naval Institute Press" and not "Chatham Publishing".
- There are different printings - there's one from Chatham
- Maybe standardise the hyphens in ISBNs.
- Done
Images
- Is it normal to not see a chunk of the The_Royal_Navy_during_the_Second_World_War_A23483.jpg image?
- Yeah, there was something wrong with the scan - see the source page
- The is no summary table in the File:Richelieu-1.jpg and there should be a link there too. Same with File:Richelieu-3.jpg
- Neither are necessary for the image to be usable - Rama uploaded a bunch of scans from the ONI books, and the only reason the one has a link was because I uploaded a higher-res version the NHHC has digitized - for whatever reason they haven't done the others.
- What's the date of File:Richelieu Ney York.jpg and where is its link too?
- Added the year, and the link is already there
That's anything from me. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 10:43, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
