I will take a look at this one, comments to follow in due course. Zawed (talk) 10:47, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
Lead
- No translation provided for "contre-torpilleur d'escadre" (or is it a translation of destroyer?). That said, perhaps the better place for the translation would be in the article rather than in the lead?
- Upon reconsideration, the French reclassified their destroyers several times before she was sunk by Emden. Best not to bother the reader with something that is not very relevant to the ship.
Design and description
- Beam dimension in text doesn't match infobox
Construction and career
- ...after their completion...: should that be "her completion" or "its completion"?
- I suggest having the translation of the Mediterranean Fleet in this section rather than the lead
- ...based in French Indochina in April 1904 that was based in French Indochina;...: double up here
- Mousquet was approaching the harbor when...: suggest "Mousquet was approaching the harbor at George Town when..."
- Presumably it would be mentioned if available, but to doublecheck, there is nothing regarding location/condition of the wreck?
Sources
- Sources look reliable
- Only one spotcheck done, on Corbett since it is the only one online. The link is actually to Vol. 4 not Vol. 1, and once I found the correct link, the page numbers didn't match - it should be pp=154–155. I have to ASF on the others.
- Roberts includes country of publication, whereas the other Barnsley sources don't
Other stuff
- Dupelinks: French Indochina, Pistolet
- Image tag OK
That's it for me, placing on hold for now. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 03:49, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't even think about the wreck's status. I'm very glad that you thought to inquire. See if my changes are acceptable.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:29, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
- Looks like you missed one issue, but I have fixed it. Passing as GA now. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 09:55, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
