Nice little article. I have a few comments:

• in the lead, "which were smaller versions of the first-rate vessels built for the main fleet"
  • Done
• in the lead, "on the nautical"? centerline?
  • I have no idea why, but my fingers kept wanting to type nautical every time I linked that - apparently I missed fixing one
• link t in the body
  • Done
• link knots in the body and kn in the infobox
  • Done
• suggest "two forward placed abreast, and two aft, both of the latter on the centerline."
  • Works for me
• link Hotchkiss gun#Hotchkiss revolving cannon
  • Done
• "the two Vauban-class ironclads"
  • Fixed
