Brest or Toulon?
editThe article states that Marengo was built at the arsenal at Brest. But Océan-class ironclad has her built at Toulon. Remarkably, FrWP has the same difference here and here (though not surprising that the French Marengo article matches this one as it was translated from here). Are the sources really so contradictory? Just to note, Jean-Michel Roche's Dictionnaire des bâtiments de la Flotte de guerre française de Colbert à now jours opts for Toulon. - Davidships (talk) 19:43, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Roberts says Toulon as well, so I've fixed the article accordingly.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 22:14, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
