Fribourg railway station → Fribourg/Freiburg railway station – use of the official naming of this station because Fribourg is a bilingual city Swiss512 (talk) 17:05, 22 March 2024 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). – robertsky (talk) 14:21, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
- It seems highly unlikely to me that this dual name is really the common name - people probably call it one or the other, not both. * Pppery * it has begun... 15:42, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. It seems the name Fribourg/Freiburg is used by the different railways operators that stop at this station.

- Other articles have the station names in the two languages like : Murten/Morat railway station Sierre/Siders railway station and Biel/Bienne railway station. Therefore I think the article name should be changed. Swiss512 (talk) 18:26, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- Support. We've followed this format with several other stations in Switzerland. I don't think I've ever seen the non-hyphenated format used by SBB or other transit operators. You'll see variance in some French- and German-language sources (Fribourg vs Freiberg) but that reinforces why the bilingual format is used in English. Mackensen (talk) 23:38, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
