Season 4 Strange Timeline

edit

So at the end of season 3, the timeline that Walter had messed up by saving alternate Peter and bringing him back from the alternate universe was finally resolved to the watcher's satisfaction. All was apparently returned to normal. Season 4 then starts with Walter thinking of his son as having been lost when he was a little kid. All good so far. Olivia has no idea who Peter is when she dreams about him, and Walter is a bit confused when he sees him in visions. Logically that's fine too. But the huge error is the fact that Walter is out of the mental institution. Why would he be out, if the memory of adult Peter is erased? It was Peter that helped Olivia get him out of the institution, and it was due to the Fringe events that Olivia even wanted to get him out. If Peter as an adult was properly erased from the timeline, then Walter would still be insitutionalized, and they wouldn't be working in Walter's lab. 84.155.156.136 (talk) 14:45, 21 November 2011 (UTC)DDReply

Except in this timeline Olivia is the one who got him out of the mental hospital. Fringe events kept occurring despite Peter's death, because Walter still crosses universes to steal him. Oh, and this really isn't the place to ask this. This talkpage is meant for suggestions for the season four article. Ruby 2010/2013 18:14, 21 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Interesting. You can see how my confusion came about, the title of this tab is "Discussion" ;-) 84.155.186.44 (talk) 10:08, 22 November 2011 (UTC) DDReply

why does "End game" changes to "Brave New World"? it means that the fringe team want to make the 5th season? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.58.4.183 (talk) 05:27, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
