The contents of the Fritz Schlumpf page were merged into Hans and Fritz Schlumpf on 17 April 2018 and it now redirects there. For the contribution history and old versions of the merged article please see its history.
@Andy Dingley:Support merge: the problem I haven't been able to resolve is what to do with the Authority control template in such a merge; perhaps leave it with the individual pages, rather on the merged page ... but then, they're unlikely to be useful to most readers. I'm not sure how you can generate two templates on a page. Klbrain (talk) 21:36, 10 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
They're two notable industrialists, and a big part of the economic history of their town. They're somewhat inseparable (so is Maman Schlumpf), so they don't work well as two separate articles, but they do meet our policies for stand-alone bios on businesspeople. The collapse and nationalisation [sic] of their business is particularly interesting. If merged to Cité de l'Automobile, they'd be either a tiny uninteresting footnote, or else WP:UNDUE for an article which ought to be about the current museum.
