Merge?

edit

Should this be merged with Fruitlands Museum? --Midnightdreary 04:34, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

the museum covers more than just the Alcott activities: paintings, Native Americans, Shakers. My hope is both articles will expand and be useful non-stubs. (John User:Jwy talk) 09:45, 13 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Expansion of stub article

edit

Hi - I recently expanded the Fruitlands stub into its current (as of 10 March 2008) article form. It could still use some work - mostly I would like to locate some additional print sources to back up the information I found online. Also, I am looking for a photo of Fruitlands which I can either get from the Fruitlands museum or under a Creative Commons license. I was going to request a photo from the Fruitlands museum, but their webpage recently went down, and has been down for a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be restored soon.

I apologize in advance if there are any glaring errors in formatting, etc. of the article. This is my first real Wikipedia page, so I would appreciate it if you would tell me what I can do to improve.

Thanks! Samchadwick (talk) 21:14, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cool. I'll take a look when I have more time - I grew up near there. I'll take a photo next time I'm in the neighborhood but maybe there are others around. . . (John User:Jwy talk) 23:37, 10 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
I might try to get there this week. Not sure what's open this time of year though. --Midnightdreary (talk) 05:45, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Useful Source?

edit

Very likely useful source for the article (I have yet to purchase): http://yalepress.yale.edu/yupbooks/book.asp?isbn=9780300140415. --John (User:Jwy/talk) 18:42, 25 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I got my copy about a week ago. I'll try to add as time permits. --Midnightdreary (talk) 13:40, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm not surprised, judging your wiki-interests! Let me know how it is. --John (User:Jwy/talk) 16:21, 26 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
