• "Fu Youde was born in Suzhou (宿州) in northern Anhui, China, during the Mongol-led Yuan dynasty." Is there any indication of the year or the timeframe when he was born?
• "Fu served under his banner." Please clarify the pronouns to indicate whether "his" in this sentence refers to Liu Futong or Han Lin'er.
• "Fu felt undervalued in this new position." Can you clarify what this position was?
• "... he fit in well with Zhu's commanders, who all came from the same social classes and region." Could you go into a little more detail about the background of Zhu's commanders?
• Give the Chinese characters for Liao Yongzhong.
• "... but despite their significant contributions to the campaign, they were not promoted to duke, which they rightfully deserved." This wording sounds particularly WP:NPOV. Can you provide the original wording from the source?
• "Fu successfully led campaigns in the northern border and Gansu". How close is Gansu to the border?
• "Feng was dismissed for his unsatisfactory performance." Does the source give specifics about Feng's performance?
  • That winter (January 21, 1387) he was named vice commander to Feng Sheng (q.v.), who had been given a special commission to go to Liao-yang (modern Manchuria) to attack Naryacu (q.v.), a leader of the Eastern Mongols, who had rebelled. Fu served with conspicuous personal merit in a campaign that was otherwise discredited by the performance of Feng and other officers attached to his staff. Summoned back after the campaign had successfully terminated late in the summer, Feng was relieved of his command and severely rebuked, and Fu was at first left to take charge of the military defenses northeast of Peiping, but shortly thereafter was recalled to Yunnan.
• "In the latter half of 1388 and 1389". Is that late 1388 and throughout 1389? Please clarify. It would help to give the exact months, if available.
• "In March 1392, Fu requested nearly 1,000 mu (about 58 ha) of land". Is there any indication of why he needed the land?
• "Lan was executed on charges of treason, followed by thousands of his relatives". Can you provide the exact quote? I am skeptical of the figure of thousands of relatives, unless distant cousins were included in the count.
  • At the beginning of March (1393), Lan Yu was denounced as a traitor and executed, and there followed a purge of thousands of persons associated with him.
• "... the Emperor wanted to eliminate any potential threats to his successor". Name the successor.
• "In 1391, Fu's daughter married the Hongwu Emperor's grandson Zhu Jixi." Provide the Chinese characters for Zhu Jixi. Could you also indicate how many total sons and daughters Fu had?
