Is it a sexless marriage?
editThis appears to be a pretty significant issue that has caused substantial confusion among game-players. Slate discusses this issue extensively in https://slate.com/human-interest/2020/04/f-marry-kill-actual-rules.html where it's revealed that many-if-not-most players (represented by Ashley Feinberg) think that the marriage should be sexless, essentially for reasons of game balance. But a vocal minority thinks fucking within the marriage is fine. The idea that there are two parallel sets of rules and that not all players agree within a given instance of the game is somewhat disturbing. JTMresearch (talk) 04:05, 21 May 2020 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved. I tried to find the BBC ref that one person cited in opposition, but was unable to find it. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:54, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

- @17jiangz1, 207.161.86.162, BarrelProof, and Necrothesp: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 23:35, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support per WP:COMMONNAME. 207.161.86.162 (talk) 05:29, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Comment. Shouldn't it be Fuck, marry, kill? Not a proper name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:38, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- That is a proper name, isn't it? It's the name of a particular game, like Snakes and Ladders or Hounds and Jackals. See the membership of Category:Games. — BarrelProof (talk) 14:20, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Leaning oppose, as this is an informal game, there is no "official" name, and sources like newspapers and public television broadcasts are likely to avoid using the word "Fuck". BD2412 T 23:38, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Changed to "leaning" because I am surprised at the proportion of reliable news outlets that actually do use the word "Fuck" when describing the game. BD2412 T 23:49, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per BBC In ictu oculi (talk) 14:56, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. The non-censored original version is definitely the WP:COMMONNAME. Paintspot Infez (talk) 20:07, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support, censorship of real title not required. Some news sources use a PG-13 version, but the real version whiffs through.--Hippeus (talk) 14:22, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom, but sentence-case per Necrothesp. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls? 03:39, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Fuck, Marry, Kill → Fuck, marry, kill – to use sentence case per MOS:GAMECAPS and recent RMs at Talk:Fuzzy duck and Talk:Snakes and ladders and per suggestions by Necrothesp and Bait30 in the previous RM discussion, which was about a different issue (the obscenity). — BarrelProof (talk) 03:21, 13 February 2021 (UTC)

- No objection. As noted in the previous discussion, it is an informal game with no "official" name, so there is no right or wrong capitalization. BD2412 T 05:42, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
