editKeep - I'm writing a 200 word album review on this band for eMusic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.236.80.62 (talk • contribs) 07:44, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Genre
editThrobbing Gristle is noise. Fuck Buttons is something else. Any suggestions? I would simply say electronic pop, or something along those lines. Pfiggs (talk) 01:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- Fuck Buttons are impossibly hard to label, you're right. Here are some suggestions:
- Drone rock
- Noise rock
- Experimental
- The infobox more accurately sums up the genre by giving multiple genres; for the article itself, I think we'd be best off just calling them experimental. I'll change it; let me know if you have any problems with this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stormchaser (talk • contribs) 04:17, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- It'd be best to find some third-party sources rather than making things up. = ∫tc 5th Eye 03:23, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- Last.fm agrees with the Drone/Noise/Experimental label, AllMusic.com Suggests Experimental/Post-Rock and adds Indie Electronic; I'd say stick with the Experimental & reference AMC.66.161.82.230 (talk) 02:40, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- We can't use the last.fm tagging system as a source, it's user-defined and is usually terribly inaccurate. = ∫tc 5th Eye 16:04, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

editI bought the album from eMusic the day before yesterday. Is that not an official release?

- Well, apparently not, as the album has now been pulled from the site.

This page
editI realise that this is more of a flaw in the wikipedia re: notability stuff, but this page reads like a pr sheet of 'awards and recognition Fuck Buttons have received.' I love the band, but I don't need to see the exact score they got from site x and the number of radio stations that have played their songs. 141.161.133.154 (talk) 06:11, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
