Video - two versions
editI think it should be stated that there are two versions of this video - naked and censored. I'm not doing it myself until I find both SWFs. But maybe someone knows the addresses? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Zahn (talk • contribs) 17:18, 13 March 2007 (UTC).
Zanzibar
editJack, while discussing his lover's favorite food, says he will order it from "Zanzibar" -- this is the name of several high end restaurants around the country. Does any one know of a particular Zanzibar that Mr. Black frequents? - Nicholas SL Smith
- You would need to find an article about it. I imagine that would be quite difficult, since you would get a lot of lyric sites spam in your queries. In any case, I reverted your change again and added a comment. I do actually prefer that sentence with a Zanzibar reference (I really dont like how that sentence ends without it) but unfortunately we are limited by WP:NOR. Also, please remember to sign your name with four tildes (~). Metao 02:21, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- I take exception to your reversion for a very simple reason. You removed the reference to "Zanzibar," yet left the fact that Jack Black said he'd order his lover's favorite dish from a restaurant. In the song, Mr. Black makes no mention of a restaurant in the song; he only refers to ordering a dish from "Zanzibar." Apparently, you assumed he meant to order a dish from a restaurant, which is what a reasonable person would expect one to order a dish from. I am changing the reference in the article back to "Zanzibar," which is in fact actually stated in the song. We can discuss whether it is reasonable to infer that "Zanzibar," which is the name of several restaurants in the New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, is in fact a restaurant. - A fair call. The reason I initially removed the word "Zanzibar" was that people were tending to Wikilink it incorrectly. You're right though - Ill just keep an eye on the wikilink. Metao 04:26, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with your origional research call as well. I'll leave out the elaboration unless a I find an authority stating what he meant. Nicholas SL Smith 23:12, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

editLet's get rid of this page. It's not popular enough for a dictionary entry. A list of Tenacious D songs should be sufficient. 204.65.0.21 (talk) 21:55, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
