editThis article needs more of them. Here's a link to some. - Crockspot 23:08, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Filmography
editI tried to verify this section, even registering at IMDB so that adult titles could be viewed. I found Virtue and Gendernauts, but there were no credits in either for Fudgie Frottage or Lu Read. The other three films weren't listed at IMDB. Is there maybe yet another name that the credit would be to? - Crockspot 00:03, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've seen Virtue and LuLu Gets a face lift and know that Fudgie is in both. I don't remember which vignette in Virtue but it was just filled with underground SF folks so maybe there's a listing of all the actor credits somewhere else. Also have no reason to dispute any of the items in filmography although references might turn up other info for the bio section.
- I've also seen El Presidente and Fudgie is in that too. I'll see what I can find. Benjiboi 00:41, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Unfortunately the fact that you have seen them does not satisfy WP:V. You really need a source. --Michael Johnson 00:47, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've found the three older ones already going for 5 out of 5. Benjiboi 01:23, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

The article doesn't state this person's sex at birth
editI'm guessing female...--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 21:59, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- Not sure but since intersex and trans issues are most definitely intertwined in the drag king communities we should get a reliable source (if one is available). Benjiboi 23:06, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
If you read the lead sentence carefully, you will see that this article is technically not about a person, but about a fictional character played by a person. So in reality, there was no birth, or sex to identify. - Crockspot (talk) 19:04, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- we should probably address that then as I think persona might be more accurate, what do you think? Benjiboi 21:40, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
- Potato, potahto... I think it's fairly obvious that the persona is male, and that Lu is biologically female, but can it be sourced? If not, how do we address it? Does it really matter? - Crockspot (talk) 03:22, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Actually I believe Lu is trans as well as doing drag so it might be best to defer until we have a quote from Lu or Fudgie about terms or birth info, etc. Agree it's not that important as of yet. Benjiboi 06:04, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Sure it's important! Since the article is about a persona (character), it relates to acting, and one has to agree that it takes a lot more acting talent for a woman to impersonate a man and create genuine controversy over her gender than for a man to play a man at a drag-related event and get people really confused! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.167.100.243 (talk) 02:03, 26 March 2009 (UTC)
- Reliable sources have to state the gender, sex etc, and support that this is notable.Sjtoyboy (talk) 03:36, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
