Wrong interwiki links (language links)

Bottom left, several robots insert a link to a Lithuanian version of this page. However, that Lithuanian page refers to Business Men's Fellowship (BMF), not to FGBMFI. So far, I did not manage to block these robots selectively in such a way that other interwiki links may still be automatically inserted. HHahn (talk) 22:05, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

In the meantime, I found a solution using a {{bots|deny=...}} template, specifying all bots that have added this incorrect link so far. I did not manage, however, to find a similar solution based of bot types or so. HHahn (talk) 21:13, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Since Business Mens Fellowship is the name of a group that at one time broke away from FGBMF, perhaps the desire of the Lithuanins to see reconciliation is being expressed in this situation ricgal —Preceding undated comment added 02:08, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Notability

I have no doubt this article is notable. The FGBMFI have been a major force within Pentecostalism, and you will find numerous published reliable secondary references to them. Colin MacLaurin (talk) 07:00, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Neutrality

I have no doubt that although this article emphasizes the pentecostal aspect and the evangelistic aspect, without going into detail, it is not really slanted unfairly. The information briefly citing the dispute after Demos Shakarian's death is needed. Many organizations go through such controversies. I have further information on the dispute, and the organizations that have departed from the Full Gospel business Men's Fellowship International include the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship in Canada, the Full Gospel Businessmen UK and Ireland, and the national organization in Nigeria, including all but one or two chapters. ricgal (talk) 05:47, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Bringing interest to the Gospel?

The current lead makes a statement about FGBMFI’s “main purpose” that is at best badly phrased, but at worst incorrect. In terms of phrasing, I suspect what the writer meant to say was something like “...increase interest in...” rather than “...bring interest to...”. Strictly the latter means to make something more interesting, whereas the former means to make people more interested in that something.

The possibly bigger issue is that the statement doesn’t appear to represent the FGBMFI’s own stated purpose as expressed on their website. Their wording covers a much wider scope and doesn’t mention the Gospel or increasing interest in (or of 🙂) it. I was just passing to remind myself of a historical detail, so I don’t want to make a drive-by change.
