Fund for Wild Nature is a legitimate organization not unlike Sierra Club, Wilderness Society, etc. that evolved from Earth First! Foundation. Fund for Wild Nature has been around for more than 25 years and I was surprised to find that it did not already have a Wikipedia entry.

editWhy not also delete Sierra Club, etc? While I think the existing entry deserves to be maintained, I expect it will, like many articles, evolve into a more complete article.
- Because the Sierra Club article is not written as if it were a promotional piece cribbed from a brochure. Ravenswing 00:48, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Really? I suggest you read the Sierra Club article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tbliss558 (talk • contribs) 00:50, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
BTW, your deletion of my "contest" tag was inappropriate. I did not remove your "delete" tag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tbliss558 (talk • contribs) 00:52, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Article was tagged "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page. (December 2023)" This is absolutely false. I was a contributor 15 years ago. Although I was a modest donor I never had a close connection to the organization. In any case, I have not contrbuted since 2008 and the page has been completely rewritten by others since that time. Sylvan1971 (talk) 00:09, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
