there is plenty of wrong information here and the majority of it is not covered by the sources used
editFirst starting with the claim that this means the same as "funk montagem" (not a genre, but a technique in which you splice multiple vocals on a song together), "funk bruxaria" (heavily related genre but not the same thing), "funk mandelão" (which is not the same thing, it's kind of an umbrella term for automotivo, bruxaria, ritmada, etc, so its like its parent genre instead of an alternate name), "funk slowed" (????) and "funk submundo" (not something i think exists but i can let it pass)
"also incorrectly known as brazilian phonk" not the same thing either, brazilian phonk is a specific style of mandelão that incorporates drift phonk influence, and is not 100% of the time automotivo
"This subgenre emerged in the 2000s" purely wrong, the first automotivo song released was in 2019, and it is beat automotivo by dj henrique de ferraz or beat automotivo by dj ery
the characteristics section is good but is missing the main classifying feature of automotivo, which is the four-on-the-floor kicks present in the majority of its songs, and is what mainly classifies something as automotivo or not Ericmaluko (talk) 04:24, 8 October 2024 (UTC)
