An interesting oxocarbon?
editThe refs suggest that this acid is quite old. Anyone has heard of its dianydride? (All minimally stable oxocarbons that I have seen mentioned, except CO, are so symmetric that they must be apolar. The dianhydride of this acid would be asymmetric and therefore may be polar...) --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 06:45, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
- There are several patents that mention the dianhydride, but my impression is that patents often include imaginary reagents... --Jorge Stolfi (talk) 12:39, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
