editI do not understand why this article was ever moved from Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway, which is also the official English language name of its subject matter. See DFB English language home page Unless someone registers an objection in the near future, I therefore propose to ask an administrator to move the article back to its original page, and restore the original redirect from this page. Furka Heritage Railway → Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway — As the first sentence of the article implicitly acknowledges, the official English language name of the railway is Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway. That should therefore also be the name of the article. When the article was created, it was published on the page bearing that name. Another page, named Furka Heritage Railway, was created as a redirect to that page. At a later stage, an editor swapped the article and redirect pages around, without giving any explanation. The swap should not have taken place. As far as I can tell, the only other websites describing the railway as Furka Heritage Railway are websites either linking to, or referring to, en.Wikipedia. So the swap has done nothing more than create confusion, and should therefore be reversed. If that is done, I will create a new redirect page entitled Furka steam railway pointing at Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway. Bahnfrend (talk) 06:38, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

Misleading introduction text
editWhy does the introduction text that this railway goes across the Furka pass? For me, this is very misleading. It clearly doesn't go across the pass, unlike other lines like the Bernina as it goes through a tunnel which lies 160m below the pass. Malberten (talk) 16:38, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
