The date of death
editA Hungarian source - Történelmi Tár - states 9 January 1983 as the date of his death, in Mathias, West Virginia, USA.

- Most Hungarian sources state 5 January as the date of his death.

Suicide
editTeleki was not an active politician at the moment of his suicide. Besides his political career was really short (September 1944-November 1945). Also the reason of his decision was not related to a political issue or situation. Thus categorizing him as Hungarian politicians who committed suicide seems to me a bit shaky.

Scouting
editA nice story, unfortunately I don't have the book - Scouting Round the World, John S. Wilson, 1959 - to check this bit, but some general facts are making the whole story somehow unlikely. According to the Hungarian wiki article Pál Teleki was appointed Chief Scout on 10 June 1922, and resigned from this post in March 1923, due to health reasons, later was appointed Honorary Chief Scout. So either the whole story took place before 1922 or... well. Unfortunately this is repeated in the article on Pál Teleki.

Image
editAt the moment I am aware about only one photo of Géza Teleki. It could be found online in the Hungarian Biography Encyclopedia (Magyar Életrajzi Lexikon)(1969): [1] The whole article on him (in Hungarian): [2]
