Patronymic

edit

All Estonians were compelled to use patronymics during Soviet occupations, 1940–1941 and after 1944. --Raskolnikoff13 (talk) 09:45, 27 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

And?--Ymblanter (talk) 10:49, 27 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
And we are not Russians. --Raskolnikoff13 (talk) 08:37, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Please, either you read Wikipedia policies and start editing accordingly, or I file an ANI request. I do not care a shit whether you are Russian or not. Please first achieve consensus and then modify the article.--Ymblanter (talk) 08:53, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is a non-issue. Patronymics were never an official part of the Estonian names, only in the Russian translation. Hence, if you want to include patronymic to the lede, correct way would be: Günther-Friedrich Reindorff (Russian: Гю́нтер-Фри́дрих Ге́рманович Рейндорф)... --Sander Säde 12:42, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

That is certainly fine with me, but given the behavior of our friend, everything which sounds Russian will be outright deleted. I will first wait until they either get blocked or get a convincing explanation of the policy, following the ANI request.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:18, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'll just put it in there. I hope that Raskolnikoff13 will behave... or, what you said. --Sander Säde 13:20, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Good, thanks.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:31, 29 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
