Palmer Cosslett Putnam
editFrom some quick reading on the Web I see that Palmer Cosslett Putnam ran the company to around 1934. There's some snippets about a bankruptcy of the company at that time, and he abruptly retired from publishing. He went on to build a wind turbine and became a writer about energy. More details around this bankrupty would be useful. --Wtshymanski (talk) 21:35, 21 November 2009 (UTC)
John Wiley
edit"The company began as Wiley & Putnam with the 1838 partnership between George Palmer Putnam and John Wiley, who had founded his own company in 1807." According to the John Wiley article that firm was founded by Charles Wiley (d. 1826) in 1807 so John's role should be clarified here.--Felix Folio Secundus (talk) 11:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
