50 lane highway? probably not

The infamous "traffic jam of 50 lanes into 20" is incredibly dubious. One can simply go on google maps to see that there is no 50 lane highway in china, that is ridiculous. The original story simply took a picture of a busy toll booth and claimed it was a "50 lane highway" going into a "20 lane highway" but the G4 expressway is only about 4 lanes wide in the area of the supposed "50 lane traffic jam". The Daily Mail is not a reliable source. 135.23.226.27 (talk)

Snopes evaluated the Daily Mail's images and found them to be miscaptioned; I added the Snopes info to the page and the article to the reference list, but it may also be worth removing the section entirely. Pendularicon (talk) 19:16, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Images

Adding images to an article can be a great enhancement. Adding too many can be a distraction. Images that are dubious, or not clearly sourced, should be removed. I removed the gallery of highway signs that was located at the top of the article. The closeness in proximity to the infobox did not offer anything to the article, at least one was a duplicate, and the others are just variations with wording clearly not in English and with no translation.

Worldwide coverage is important but the English Wikipedia does use "English" so images that include foreign language need to have a caption in English or some other means of translation.

I did not look at the reliability but ran across a source (Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway) that is a duplicate of the the en.people.cn article [Traffic Jam! As National Day Holidays Draw to End. Mention of massive 50 lane traffic jams and a nickname "Vehicle Killer" could be trivia but if reliable sourced is also informative. I don't know if this is the same sources as mentioned in the Daily Mail but if true is interesting. If not it would be just as interesting to know where it is actually located.
