Added Dash 8-41CW
editattempting to merge from Dash 8-41C/CWKen (talk) 21:17, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
according to Diesel Spotters Guide, the change from xx-8 to Dash-8xx was made during the C40-8 (standard cab) production. It would seem logical that anything sold after that would also be sold under the "Dash 8" nomenclature instead of the "-8" term. While the article title is therefore compliant, the text bounces between the 2 often. Consistency might be a virtue here......Comments? Ken (talk) 20:26, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
damn the torpedos, I've changed all primary text to Dash 8 nomenclature. Discuss if you disagree.....Ken (talk) 20:37, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
8-40CM vs 8-40M
editI have never seen the designations without the C before, can someone explain where they have seen this before. --Chesapeake (talk) 23:26, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Interesting. It should be either Dash 8-40CM or C40-8M. Maybe the lack of the letter "C" was a typo. —BMRR (talk) 17:04, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
