Roster
editI tweeked the roster a bit. Wabash had 15 units, not 13. Pennsylvania's last unit was 2558, not 2559. The Burlington's six units were left off the roster and were added. The revised roster now reflects 478 units, this is correct as the two XP-24 Demonstrators were never sold. GE Demonstrators #753-756 went to the Frisco as their #804-807. GE #2501-2504 were sold to the UP as their #633, 635, 634, and 636. Three NYC U25Bs were rated at 2750 horsepower for test purposes in 1965.--SSW9389 22:35, 19 November 2005 (UTC)

Milwaukee #5057 is at the Portola Railroad Museum in California. Believe this one was used at Western Nebraska University as a training aid until its donation to Portola. --SSW9389 23:08, 19 November 2005 (UTC)

L&N #1616 is at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum in Chattanooga and may have recently been sold. The unit has no main generator in her as she gave it up for a D-L C425.
NYC #2500 is sitting in North East, PA at the Lake Shore Railway Museum. and is basically fully restored (with the exception of being operable).

Retirement date

There was no GE demo #55.
editFriso #811 was built for the road in July 1963 in an order that included #808-#810, batch #1439 with a builder's number of 34563. She wasn't a member of batch #1364, which were GE demos #51-#54 that were later sold to Friso.
