Hi Wikipedia,

My name is Sam and I am editing this page for a class. I plan on adding more information about GIS uses for flood analysis as well as discussing the effects of using DEMs with different spatial resolutions in hydrology analysis. I have found few great peer-reviewed articles that go into depth on the subject. I would also like to add some links to this page from external pages so that this article is no longer an "orphan".
