OSI Layer?
edithttp://www.protocolbase.net/protocols/protocol_GTP.php states this is a Network Layer Protocol, but this Wikipedia article lists it as app layer. I'd tend to agree with the former. Comments? 203.35.224.25 (talk) 02:43, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Header fields
editThe header field for version is being moved backwards and forwards. It looks correct that it was at bit 0-3 to me, but are we debating endianess here? Note the inconsistency with GTP', which is basically the same header. Yes I did the GTP' page... Bwooce (talk) 02:27, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was unanimous consensus, including by nominator, not to move.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:12, 17 October 2008 (UTC)
Requested move
editTypo in the page title, should be tunneling instead of tunnelling. Julienforgeat (talk) 10:32, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose, per WP:ENGVAR. This is not a typo: Double L is the British English spelling. 87.114.17.201 (talk) 11:18, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
D*mn, I was not aware of a specific British spelling for tunneling, even more embarrassing is that the 3GPP is actually using this spelling in the specifications... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Julienforgeat (talk • contribs) 13:42, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:ENGVAR and 3GPP specifications. --Rogerb67 (talk) 02:03, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Comment Note someone has already boldly moved this page; if consensus is opposed to the move, it will need moving back. --Rogerb67 (talk) 02:03, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Apologies: I thought this was a noncontroversial move, so I went ahead and did it. Sorry if I caused any problems. NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 03:12, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose the requested title is grammatically incorrect (even in US english, though it is the accepted convention in US english... but then English is a language of contraventions of rules instead of sets of rules) 70.51.10.188 (talk) 05:32, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
