Last paragragh
editIn the last paragraph -
"People residing out of Ghana, such as westerners, are known to have being buried in Ga-styled coffins. [2]"
its meant to convey the message that people who do not have the tradition of burying dead relatives in coffins shaped as objects (as supposed to a simple 'box'), have ordered coffins in the traditions of the Ga people in order to bury their deceased.
Perhaps, that sentence dosen't convey that message well.

Article Development
editLet's develop this article. For one, let's aim to develop this page better and to improve the page's status from "Start" Class to Category "FA" or "A" Class based on wikipedia standards. Of Top importance. Example: Tamil people - Despite the Tamil people subject being more researched and documented. There is much more researched about this subject- Ga-Andangbe, yet little made available for the general public.
Africa Assessment and Ethnic Assessment: FA Class "Professional, outstanding, and thorough; a definitive source for encyclopedic information."
Start by cleaning up article -- in Infobox could someone help remove the [ file| frameless ] coding text.
Next. Add more sections e.g. Geography Expand content of every section e.g. History. Culture - add writing (with sources) about patrilinial inheritance, and naming customs. Expand on religion(s) (involvement in chrisitianity) and holidays. Add Food, family structure. Develop each section comprehensively using sources and articles. Remove Notable Ga-Adangbe People section. Add notables persons into text within their respective sections. Add subsections to sections
Then, improve the articles writing in general. Add name Ga-Adangbe pronunciations. Geography Add map to show regions inhabited, links to major cities towns in Wikipedia articles. Discuss the subgroups (Ada, Ga-Teshie, Ga-Mashie, Krobo, Shai) and their environment, climate, linguistic differences etc. Statistics and health in these towns.
Using cited sources, and linking to appropriate Wikipedia articles. e.g. Ada, Ghana
Origin Story - Ile-Ife (citing sources) - (Dodowa name origin), Israel theory. Ayawaso settlement.
Traditional Leadership. Kings, Chiefs. Title Disputes.
History - Katamanso War, other wars. Interaction with Europeans, Colonial History.
Current State - Land Issues- with government, Land Tenure (cite sources).
Photos needed for each section to aid descriptions.
historical photos, especially from the colonial era.
External Links to culturally relevant media, videos, articles and Further Reading scholarly work where necessary. Books written. Links to Ga-Adangbe Cultural Societies and populations globally.
This is open to ALL. Must be dedicated to the job and thorough with work.

Infobox
edit- Is the girl to the left a Ga-Adanbe?
- Anybody hanging around willing to take a look at the infobox? On the top there is this File: indication. Thank you for your time. Lotje (talk) 16:27, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
"Descendents of Hebrew Israelites"??
editA lot of unsourced information has been added to suggest that the Ga-Adangbe people are descended from the Hebrew Israelites. This is almost certainly untrue, so I am deleting it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lfgteam (talk • contribs) 19:51, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
Splitting of article
editSurely this article should be split into Ga people and Dangme people? Ngrams shows that in the literature, 'Ga people' predominates and 'Dangme people' still is higher than 'Ga-Adangbe people' ([1]). This is a really strange grouping that only makes sense in linguistics, but even then we have different articles for Ga language and Dangme language Kowal2701 (talk) 17:25, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
