I've re-split the three novels' summaries that appeared on this page into their own respective articles. I realize that they were merged here only two months ago, but since there was no discussion at all, either for or against that move (that I can find), I don't feel as though I'm bucking any consensus here. That said, here is why I've re-split these articles:
I came here to complete infoboxes for both Titan and Wizard, as I am attempting to make sure all Hugo Award nominated novels have complete infoboxes. However, with the three individual novels and their respective infoboxes sharing the same page, this quickly became a mess. It was also difficult to figure where I should mention their award nominations. (Although Demon was not nominated for a Hugo, I completed its infobox anyway.)
Having individual articles not only breaks up a long, messy, awkward page, it also much more easily allows for article expansion and categorization. It may not be a bad idea for someone who has actually read these novels to include extremely brief synopses here sometime in the future. -- Antepenultimate 01:23, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Stanford torus
editI've added a link and illustration of a Stanford torus which is identical to Gaea in great detail albeit at a much much smaller scale. It even has the day/night slices depicted and the cable structures. Might be worth emailing the author (John Varley) for comment to see if this particular image was around before he started work on the trilogy. I think he does read the mail to his website if anyone is up to it.--184.21.215.174 (talk) 06:01, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
