"The Gaggle"
editShould information about "The Gaggle," a group at the University of Oklahoma, be included in this article? It's been removed several times, but each time it's later been re-added. Also, PIP Team keeps showing up under the "See Also" section, just to be removed and later re-added, but there is no related article with that name.
- Does anyone have any thoughts, or know why either of these things are worthy of being mentioned in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mears man (talk • contribs) 14:55, 3 April 2007
- It must be a big enough deal that it keeps showing back up so I'd leave it in there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.97.95.14 (talk) 05:10, 26 April 2007

- A group of 30 people seeking attention isn't notorious enough (and it's simply spamming wikipedia), so I've removed the paragraph. --Vlad|-> 12:26, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Since when do you own Wikipedia? This is a free encyclopedia and we are a legitimate alumni orginization. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Linksplayer (talk • contribs) 05:01, August 23, 2007 (UTC).
- I'm sorry, but you don't own Wikipedia either. While Wikipedia is free, you cannot simply create any article you may choose, are add non-notable information to existing articles. If we were to all add information about small groups that we belong to, Wikipedia would be full of short, one or two sentence articles about organizations that most people have never even heard of. When I was in high school, my youth minister, a few friends of mine, and I had a bit of a group that we called the He Man Woman Haters, and we would meet once ever week or so to talk about, well, whatever we needed to talk about. According to your argument, I could add this information to the article about The Little Rascals (film), although I believe it is quite obvious that this information does not belong there. —Mears man 13:20, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
In teen slang gaggle is used in place of giggle. Gaga is often accidentally put instead of haha because of how close the two keys are on a standard keyboard or cellphone. So when someone puts gaga they are known to gaggle. Founded by E/e. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.25.133.206 (talk) 22:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
Should Press Gaggle be made into its own article
editWas looking up Press Gaggle and was directed to this. It is only loosely related to the main article meaning a "group" of geese. Any thoughts on splitting it off? NickScalan (talk) 21:51, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I suppose it could. However, someone in my online garden group mentioned seeing a 'gaggle' of qeese in our "Signs of spring" thread, and since it didn't sound quite right to me I looked it up and was surprised to find that it was a 'gaggle' only if they were on the ground - otherwise it was a flock. But I really enjoyed the additional info on a Press Gaggle. I'd like it to stay right here! Gandydancer (talk) 21:22, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
