Why to delete? Galleri Rom is outstanding Norwegian architectural gallery. Please edit and append, if necessary.--Rünno (talk) 17:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
The importance of that gallery is stated in Kjetil Trædal Thorsen. I added the corresponding sentence to the article. Andres (talk) 17:58, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't think this article meets the criterion 7 for speedy deletion of articles: "The criterion does not apply to any article that makes any credible claim of significance or importance even if the claim is not supported by a reliable source. If the claim's credibility is unclear, you can improve the article yourself, propose deletion, or list the article at articles for deletion." Andres (talk) 06:05, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- The article retains serious issues: it's too short, it has no 3rd party sources, its notability is dependent on another ("notability is not inherited"!) article, whose own notability is in question because it too lacks 3rd party sources. The Norwegian version likewise lacks any sources. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 13:03, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, of course there are problems here but my point is that no criterion of speedy deletion is fulfilled. I think that the topic is notable enough because it is closely related to a key figure of a world famous architectural institution, and it is stated elsewhere that this very gallery is notable (though without any confirmation) but, of course, research is needed in order to show this. We could ask somebody from Norwegia to try doing that.
- As far as I can see, speedy deletion gets not done by the judgment of one person, and it is meant for the cases where it is obvious enough that the topic is bad. It seems not to be the case here. Instead, further research is needed. Andres (talk) 16:26, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- LOL @ Norwegia. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 16:35, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Fact, that "Galleri Rom" exists. I am agree, that currently article needs amendment, but not deleting. "Galleri Rom" plays important role in Norwegian culture.--Rünno (talk) 17:00, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
