Reference not working

edit

I've just added information about stamping of foreign passports in Israel, taken from Non-visa travel restrictions#Israel stamps. For some reason, I couldn't include the same reference that's used in the mentioned article, I was only showed a red error message and I wasn't able to figure out how to include the reference correctly. Could anyone add the source please? Meanwhile I'll try to figure out how to add sources correctly.Ondrusj (talk) 13:32, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Souvenir passport stamps

edit

Should souvenir passport stamps be included in this article considering they aren't given by immigration officers during passport control at the border? Monaco, San Marino, and Liechtenstein's stamps are all provided by tourist offices.

That's actually a very good question... Maybe classify them as souvenir stamps that are recognized since they are given by a government entity?Marathonian (talk) 01:30, 19 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Norfolk Island

edit

I don't think Norfolk Island gives stamps anymore. Their self-governance was dissolved in 2015-2016 and since then they are viewed as domestic in Australia and would get a regular Australia entry stamp (if they still do that). Any insight? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marathonian (talkcontribs) 01:32, 19 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Discussing the 05:11, 19 August 2019 change

edit

I have added these territories:
South Ossetia (Even though has no visa requirements, if Somaliland is on this list then this should be added as well)
Saint Martin (French side, separate visa/stamps than the Dutch Sint Maarten)
Wallis and Futuna (Since we included French Polynesie, Saint Bart., etc..)
Mayotte (Since we included French Guiana, Guadeloupe, etc..)
Tokelau (Self-governing with it's own permits/stamps)
Guam (Not the same visa policy/stamp as USA)
Northern Mariana (Not the same visa policy/stamp as USA)
Montserrat (Not sure why this was never there to begin with, fits the criteria)
Pitcairn Islands (Not sure why this was never there to begin with, fits the criteria)
St Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha (Not sure why this was never there to begin with, fits the criteria. Note that each individual territory within this territory has its own requirements.. Keeping them intact here)

I have removed this territory:
Norfolk Island (Self-governance revoked, thus making it part of Australia. Flight from/to Australia are considered domestic)
We should note that the US includes Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands)
We should not that the UK includes Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey (aka Channel Islands for the last two)

Future changes: Stamps for Guadeloupe/Martinique and possibly Reunion should be updated

Redirecting to Visa Policy template instead

edit

Currently the links send you to the relevant country's page. I think it would be more fitting to send it to the relevant Visa Policy page for that country. Thoughts? If all of you agree, I can make the change. Marathonian (talk) 23:57, 19 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree. 100percent. 103.246.36.120 (talk) 05:24, 5 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Semi-protection

edit

Is it possible to protect a page from unregistered IP addresses and new users from certain countries? There are anonymous Georgian IP addresses removing visas and stamps of Abkhazia and South Ossetia constantly. I do not care what anyone's opinion on their independence is, I do not advocate for their independence either, but they are de facto sovereign states that issue their own visas and passport stamps, they definitely belong on the page. This constant removal is nothing but nationalistic pissing contest.--Shallov (talk) 02:56, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

The external link: (https://www.worldpassportstamps.com/) does not work and may even be a dangerous link, it may need to be deleted. Ben Carpendale (talk) 18:10, 26 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The stamps shown are outdated. I will provide those I have, but flight arrivals have a parrot and land has a monkey. https://www.picdrop.com/guidosarducci/vpmQbUExXX?file=dbee232f5e8f881be25e3d1f4364f5dc 196.188.33.121 (talk) 18:32, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
