Copyright concerns
editI have some copyright concerns about the similarity of this long article to the history of Galphay on http://www.galphay.org.uk/village%20history.html
Please clarify whether (a) that article post-dates this, or (b) they are both written by the same person, or (c) the material is copied with permission. If none of these is the case, Wikipedia may be in breach of copyright. -- Euchiasmus 18:11, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- I had the same concern as User:Euchiasmus, as the history section was a very lightly edited version of the web page, which says it is the text of a talk given in 1959 - so that unless the author has given permission, the WP article infringed copyright. No-one has replied to the above concerns after 3 months. Rather than tag the article as a "copyvio" and risk the whole article being deleted, it seemed better to remove the infringing text. I've added a couple of points from it, and I'm sure someone could extract a few more key points, putting them in their own words, to improve this article. PamD (talk) 18:32, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
