Arrigo has moved this article despite the request posted down to please post a discussion on moving first. Requesting restoration of original name until clear rules are there. Arrigo please stop moving articles that are under renanming discussion or removing naming tags. You have done this on plenty of other occassions. Gryffindor 15:24, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
if renaming of this article is considered, please post a discussion first and do not simply move the article without posting a Wikipedia:Requested moves first, thank you. Antares911 13:36, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

- Oppose the requested move from Galyani Vadhana to Princess Galyani Vadhana of Thailand. Unnecessary and cluttering. One of the highest forms of respect is to name a person using only the pure royal name. Such as Bhumibol Adulyadej, or Chulalongkorn. Using such simple name implies that the person in question is well-known without any additions. To accord the same to Thai royals signifies the high respect of recognizing the person in question just by his one name. All additions are basically cluttering the respect. Purity is respect, clutter is disrespect. Therefore all additions (be it territorial designation such as "of Thailand" or "of Siam", titulary such as king or queen, a surname, or whatever) are clutter, and should be avoided if not necessary for disambiguation. I oppose all the clutter alternatives. Arrigo 10:15, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
- Oppose. We don't put the word "Princess" or the like in the page title. CDThieme 16:41, 30 August 2005 (UTC)
- Oppose use of "Princess" per Thieme above; oppose use of Thailand as unnecessary for disambiguation. Septentrionalis 21:05, 31 August 2005 (UTC)
It was requested that this article be renamed but there was no consensus for it be moved. Dragons flight 03:04, September 1, 2005 (UTC)

editThe name of HH Prince Varananda Dhavaj need to fix. People who get the title HH (His Highness) isn't a prince anymore. He was born in royal family but his royalty isn't as high as to be a prince.--Pudtipong 05:59, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
Death
editMy sources are reporting that she died on November 11th or 12th, 2007. Actual news of her death will be reported AFTER the king's birthday celebration in December. --Che1959 10:58, 13 November 2007 (UTC)
