pre and post Halverson GameFan
editI believe that the staff list should be edited to reflect the pre and post Halverson GameFan, as the magazine changed dramatically once Halverson left, and Mylonas (ECM) took over. Also, can anyone confirm either way that "Shin Rox" was in fact a psuedonym for a GF staffer that was not Nick Des Barres? 66.245.40.93 09:26, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
I changed it to say that only one issue of GameGo! magazine was ever released, rather than that there were conflicting reports. This because I was involved with the forum at GameGo's website at the time, and many copies of the first issue were definitely printed up and distributed. Just not enough to continue paying the bills and attracting advertisers. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.13.42.210 (talk • contribs) at 08:43, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

paper quality
editI remember one of the finest quality of gamefan was its paper quality. The paper used by gamefan was so much better than the paper used in EGM, Gamepro, etc. I added 1 sentence mentioning this. Speaker1978 (talk) 15:44, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedians with copies
editWikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Reference_library/GameFan lists a copy of GF as reviewing Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Does anyone by any chance have any scans or transcriptions of any of the AnimeFan articles dealing with Evangelion? (I've already contacted Areala, but they seem to have left WP.
I'm also interesting in http://eva.onegeek.org/pipermail/oldeva/1997-September/004749.html which claims a direct borrowing from Evangelion into FFVII, which would be well worth including somewhere, but it's unclear which issue is the right one. Anyone know that either? --Gwern (contribs) 18:53 30 January 2010 (GMT)
- I have quite a few of the GF issues that review or cover NGE, ranging from a two page spread just after the series originally aired in Japan to an import review of The End of Evangelion. I also have the GF issue that reviews FFVII and mentions the D Type equipment, as well. I could probably scan them whenever I have free time, just shoot me an email at crithit5000@yahoo.com...Crithit5000 (talk) 03:39, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

We need a scan of the front cover of the magazine's last issue!
editAs the title says, we need a scan of the very last issue of the magazine in order to better represent the article. The scan of that issue has been there for YEARS so why not change it for good... KGRAMR (talk) 00:11, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
