Fair use rationale for Image:Gameheadlogo lores.jpg

edit

Image:Gameheadlogo lores.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Splitting this and GameTrailers TV

edit

GameTrailers TV is not really a rebranding of Game Head. While certain elements are similar, essentially these are two separate shows, and there should be articles treated as such. Plus it makes it less cluttered. -TonicBH (talk) 03:34, 10 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Agreed for same reasons as above. Also, (though I have no direct source of this), host Geoff Keighley refered to the first episode of GT TV as the "first episode of the brand-new GameTrailers TV" Tascha96 (Talk) 9:04, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Rename?

edit

If the show was rebranded as GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley, shouldn't that be the current title of the article, with "formerly Game Head" in the lead?  Mbinebri  talk ← 14:36, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Comments above suggest that GameTrailers TV is a new show rather than just a rebranding. So I'm not quite sure what to do with this. Reach Out to the Truth 16:25, 12 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Sure, the comments suggest it, but without support, and the article currently states the show was renamed. I'm no expert here, but I have no reason not to believe that. Plus, the main search result for "Game Head" on Spike TV's website is a redirect to the site's page on GameTrailers. That about clinches it for me that the show was renamed.  Mbinebri  talk ← 19:07, 13 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well, with no more feedback I went ahead and moved the article.  Mbinebri  talk ← 17:01, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
