Evolutionary history
Awhile back, I remember seeing a paper on the evolutionary history and phylogeny on the trait that might generate some good content here, though it was before my days editing here before I would have made a note to save it. If anyone has seen anything similar, it could be worth including a new section on that. KoA (talk) 21:20, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- @KoA: What exactly is this trait and how could it help improve the article? X-Editor (talk) 03:04, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- I suggest reading the article this talk page is about if you aren't familiar with the Gamergate trait. Phylogeny and evolutionary history topics usually include standard things like cladograms like at Neoptera#Phylogeny. KoA (talk) 16:45, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Gamergate (harassment campaign) > Remove "harassment campaign" from title

There is no way "harassment campaign" should be in the title. Where are the actual sources for that? Of course there are awful people in any group, but they definitely didn't organize the stuff you all are talking about. Many websites were just an echo chamber for the racist, sexist side of it. That's like going on the "Liberalism" wiki and putting "Liberalism (harassment campaign). Because a loud side of the liberals are against cops? I know, bad example, but anyone would get my point. My grandkids need to know the awful side of it all true, but I would rather them know the side of freedom and actual press the majority wanted. They might never click on it because of that title. The majority of gamergate participants were just against bad journalism and censorship.206.248.196.238 (talk) 21:19, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
