Title
editI understand the title "The gang of Amazons" or "gang of Amazons" does not seem like an appropriate title, but that is what they were called in all of the news articles written about them. Deleting the page due to the title not being to your aesthetic liking does not invalidate the actual article, its subject or its sources. A similar argument would be deleting the article about Halle Berry, because that is not her birth name, but an alias. Though she uses her alias, her legal and therefore truthful name is Maria Halle Berry. The gang of Amazons were referred to as such constantly in Russian media, though they themselves do not refer to themselves with this title. Murders related to them are attributed the to 'gang of Amazons'.Naiele3 (talk) 03:05, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
Naiele3
editNaiele3 Since you are an inexperienced user, you don't blank an existing article, redirect it then start a new one. Poor form and wrecks edit history.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 03:05, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
Well Kintetsubuffalo, there was no way for me to change the title and make a redirect from just Inessa to the gang as a whole because there wasn't adequate instruction on wikipedia on how to change it. I've googled it. Naiele3 (talk) 05:09, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
- Naiele3 Nonsense. Wikipedia gives more-than-adequate directions on how to do both. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Moving_a_page , where it very clearly states "Do not move or rename a page by copying/pasting its content, because doing so fragments the edit history. (Wikipedia's copyright license requires acknowledgement of all contributors, and editors continue to hold copyright on their contributions unless they specifically give up this right. Hence it is required that edit histories be preserved for all major contributions until the normal copyright expires. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.)"--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 05:14, 11 January 2018 (UTC)
Russian forms of names
editI think the feminine names in Russian are largely incorrect, but I don't know how to correct Cyrillic. Seadowns (talk) 14:05, 31 March 2018 (UTC)
birthdays instead of age at capture
editI think dates would be more instructive, if they can be found.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 20:16, 12 October 2018 (UTC)
