I have a copy of "Here in cool grot" that lists Wesley's name as "Garret Colley Wellesley." As the page I have is a photocopy from rehearsal, I don't have the original source, so I can't verify the "authenticity" of this spelling, but the fact that it was published in a modern collection is enough for me. I'm willing to bet it's in the Oxford collection, or that Tudor Anthems book, or somewhere similar. If anybody finds this spelling in publication, please footnote the alternative spelling!
