A fact from Garrison Landing Historic District appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 10 May 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Latest comment: 6 years ago2 comments2 people in discussion
During my November 2017 excursion along the Metro-North Hudson Line, the current and former Garrison stations were among my photographic targets. Since I knew Guinan's Pub was closed and I never found a fixed address for the place, I wasn't entirely certain of the location.
So was this it?
Here's another shot.
Some construction workers were trying to restore the place at the time. In the meantime, is the Garrison Yacht Club, also a contributing property to the historic district? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 17:39, 11 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
Guinan's Pub is the building at the very southern end of Garrison's Landing. There's a pic in this article; I think you've got it, but it's being refurbished, so I can't quite tell. The nom form is online here, and although it lacks detail, it does have a nice map of the boundaries. It looks like the district explicitly includes the spit of land leading to the Yacht Club, but nothing in the water. Andrew Jameson (talk) 12:32, 15 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
