I'm interested in the collaboration between Bonds and Springstein. Having lived through those days myself, I remember the comeback album, and I recall hearing an interview with Bruce in which he said he happened to catch Bonds at a gig, was impressed, and so introduced himself and offered to produce an album. If true, then Bonds would certainly owe a lot to The Boss. Anyone else hear this tale? If so, please elaborate.

Yes, that's how I recall it. Rothorpe (talk) 18:37, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

This Little Girl

edit

Shouldn't this article mention Gary U.S. Bond's hit of Springsteen's "This Little Girl"? 180.219.114.104 (talk) 08:33, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

"Transcending genre"

edit

The pile of examples for "transcending genre" amounts to exactly one song, co-written with someone who regularly works in other genres. I figured it would therefore be best to tone down the rhetoric. :)
