I found this in the article:

$P=\bigsqcup _{\alpha }U_{\alpha }\times G/\sim$

I changed it to this:

$P=\bigsqcup _{\alpha }U_{\alpha }\times G/{\sim }$

Clearly that extra space surrounding the ${\text{“}}{\sim }{\text{''}}$ symbol is the correct amount in expressions like $a\sim b,$ but not in expressions like those you see above. Merely writing G/{\sim} instead of G/\sim fixes the problem. (Apparently there are persons working on articles like this to whom the problem is not conspicuous when they see the first expression above.) Michael Hardy (talk) 16:29, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

Ambiguity of "connection" on the dictionary.

Dictionary is useful, but the explanation about gauge symmetry seems less. It said that gauge transformations that are covariantly constant with respect to the connection can be interpreted to the global gauge symmetry, but the page doesn't include any explanation which connection is used.

It should at least contain some examples or usages in the context of physics. ChoMedit (talk) 05:41, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
