I'll have a look at this one too, will post review shortly. Kosack (talk) 19:49, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Initial review:
Infobox
edit- Is there a source for his full name?
Lead
edit- "although did not make any first-team appearances for the club", I'm thinking it should be although he...?
- "although did not making any appearances for the club", similar issue a bit further down for his Palace spell.
- Link first mention of Notts County and Stevenage.
Watford
edit- Link Ray Lewington.
- "As soon as I knew as Watford were interested", a stray as in there.
- Change Sunderland and Hull City links to A.F.C. rather than F.C. to avoid redirects.
Tamworth
edit- Perhaps add a short line about retiring? Both the lead and the personal life section mention retiring but there's no mention of it in the career text.
Honours
edit- Using semi-colons should be avoided, simply use bold text for headings per WP:PSEUDOHEAD and Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players.
- Middle individual award is unsourced.
References
edit- Refs 2, 42 and 112 need authors.
- Ref 66 is from the Daily Mail. As I understand it, according to WP:DAILYMAIL, the Mail is to be avoided as a source. I'm sure there would be a suitable match report from the BBC or another to replace it.
- Ref 98 is a dead link.
- Ref 107 archive date uses a different format than any other refs, maintain one style for consistency.
- Ref 113 is another Daily Mail ref that should be replaced, THIS Birmingham Post page supports the same info.
Some minor issues to address, on hold for now. Kosack (talk) 20:10, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks once again for taking the time out to review another article, Kosack. Have made all of the above changes. Couldn't find a reference for Mahon's Player of the Year award for the 2000–01 season (even Brentford F.C. Player of the Year has references for every season apart from the year Mahon won it! The official Brentford F.C. Facebook page mentions it, but haven't included that as a reference. Have removed it for now and will re-add should I find a proper reference. Let me know if there is anything else. Cheers. SBFCEdit (talk) 16:55, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- I have no further concerns. Another well written article, promoting. Kosack (talk) 18:34, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
