Dates?
editWhile it seems that Geevor Tin Mine Ltd was formed in 1911, the article Mining in Cornwall and Devon states that the mine itself opened in 1780. Which is correct? --HighKing (talk) 21:16, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- No reason why they shouldn't both be correct. The company of 1911 took over the business of North Levant and Geevor Ltd. Companies may come and go, but the mine itself went on. DuncanHill (talk) 21:33, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
- Good point, but the lede is misleading as it reads as if the mine was only operational from 1911. --HighKing (talk) 15:05, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

- Resolved, as per WP:CornwallGuideline. Thank you. --HighKing (talk) 12:23, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
- No problem, I would gently suggest that involving local Wikiprojects when problems like this occur in the future would be constructive. DuncanHill (talk) 12:29, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
