Gehenna scenarios
editCan we get descriptions of the different Gehenna scenarios? Mathiastck 10:58, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Feel free to add these descriptions. --Loremaster (talk) 02:08, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Merger proposal
editPlease see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Role-playing games#Category:Vampire: The Masquerade where a discussion is occurring about merging pages in this category. --Craw-daddy | T | 12:36, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
- I am opposed to the deletion of the Gehenna (World of Darkness) article. --Loremaster (talk) 04:40, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
- So am I. Vampire: The Masquerade is one of the most notorious role-playing game lines in the history of this hobby, and this article is both 1) relevant enough to remain in Wikipedia (because of the importance of this concept to the overall in-game setting) and 2) long enough to merit it's own space. 200.92.97.132 (talk) 01:46, 3 July 2008 (UTC) Corrigiendo nomás
- Agreed. This article exists in the correct location (within the role-playing section), format, and length to constitute remaining as is. Thebreadline (talk) 17:22, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Recent Merge
editIt was done because all the Vampire: The Masquerade articles are routinely listing as non-notable, and in fact after the last major discussion of Vampire: The Masquerade, Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Role-playing games#Category:Vampire: The Masquerade, it was decided that not only were there too many articles for the game but most should be merged. Unfortunately, the end result was someone went and mass deleted most of the articles.
I was not trying to be destructive or destroy content. I am a huge fan of Vampire: The Masquerade, and have been trying to restore a lot of the deleted information that shouldn't have been deleted in the first place and am now actively working to fill them with second and third party sources and links.
The merge was done more to prevent another mass deletion like what happened last time, by trimming the amount of excess articles. Already people are re-adding notablity tags to all the V:TM articles (even those with third party sources), and Gehenna (World of Darkness) is still listed as non-notable even a year after the tag was added. As all three articles only had first party sources, it made sense to increase their notability by merging them (likewise we need to add the secondary and third party sources to each of those pages). If you have an idea as to a different article they all should be merged into, please do so.Flygongengar (talk) 19:30, 26 April 2009 (UTC)
